Appointments

When you have received a request card for a Radiological examination from a Consultant or a GP you may wish to have this examination done at the Lister Hospital Stevenage or Pinehill Hospital, Benslow Lane, Hitchin.

Please phone the Department of Radiology at the Lister or Pinehill Hospital to arrange your appointment.

Important

If you may be pregnant please inform us before the examination is arranged
If you are allergic to iodine or contrast agents please let us know
If you are taking treatment for Diabetes, Cardiac or Kidney problems inform us straightaway

Billing

If you wish to find out the full cost of the radiological examination, please phone the Department of Radiology at The Lister or Pinehill hospital.

We are participating providers with various insurance companies. Our billing personnel work closely with patients, verifying the charges and answering any questions that may arise.

You may wish to make inquiries from your Insurance Company whether you are fully covered for the procedure.

At the Lister Hospital

A few days after the procedure you will be billed for the examination
The fees charged have been approved by BUPA
If there are any queries please contact one of the Medical Secretaries at the Department of Radiology

At Pinehill Hospital

Billing is done by the hospital
If there are any queries please phone the hospital
