Welcome to the North Herts Radiology Group website

The Group consists of 7 Consultant Radiologists providing a Private Radiology Service at Pinehill Hospital Hitchin and the Lister Hospital Stevenage. Both hospitals are in North Hertfordshire. Each radiologist is recognised as an expert in one or more specialist areas in Radiology.

A new Kodak PAC System is installed at the Lister Hospital.

Our aim is to have a filmless hospital. Most radiology images are stored in a computer image archive and are available, within minutes, on any of the computers conveniently located throughout the hospital. Our digital equipment includes: Spiral CT Scanner, Radio Fluroscopy with Digital Subtraction Angiography, Colour Doppler High-Resolution Ultrasound Scanner Ultrasound Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Image Scanner (MRI), and Gamma Camera with a wide variety of isotope scanning capabilities.

The Consultant Radiologists of the Group provide a 24 hour service both at the Lister and Pinehill Hospitals

Broadband based Teleradiology system from Kodak Health Imaging is installed at the Lister Hospital for rapid transfer of images to the Consultant Radiologists.
